It is with great sadness that I have to inform you today that the demolition of OCC has started.
That unfortunately means all hope of the building being resurrected is lost.
Recently, I have seen an increase in visitor numbers, and I would like to thank everyone who has reached out with pictures, stories, and memories about the store.
This site will remain online for the foreseeable future as an archive of the building and what it used to be for the local community. You can still reach out and share pictures, stories, or anything else you would like to share. Please be advised that replies may take some time, and I ask for your patience.
Once again, thank you for your interest in OCC. If I have any more info, I will let you know.
